This is the Society of Information and Communication.
The Society concerns itself with all forms of communication and gathering/distributing information. We believe that information is vital to the production and prosperity of a healthy civilization, and that means of communicating that information is an important topic to explore and study.
The information game is something that has been played by various groups of people historically to even now. However, since the creation of the internet, means of communication have exploded at an unprecedented rate. While the Society believes that the internet is one of the ultimate tools, we recognize that it is a double-edged sword. Too much of the wrong information to the wrong people would have disastrous consequences, likewise not enough of the right information to the right people. Facts are often misconstrued or obscured.
Our aim is to provide people with alternative methods of communication and to practice critical thinking while processing information. Despite how this about page may initial come off, this is not intended to be a high school English class of citing credible sources or constructing arguments in some formatted way. Not everything is black and white, and some things can have more than one meaning.
Good luck
